Welcome to our new Florida Rum Explorer website. I'm Laura and I run all the back-end stuff here at the Florida Rum Explorer. Brian, my husband, is our on-air talent who knows more than anyone I know about Rum. Brian and I are an empty-nester couple who enjoy travel, rum, and history.
We'd love to invite you to come along with us as we explore various types of rum (among other spirits) and explore our home state of Florida. We hope to provide you with a little bit of knowledge, some history, and a bit of fun along the way.
We will be tasting rums, teaching you about cool mixed drinks, how to make your own flavored rums, and the difference between a Rum, Rhum, and a Ron. Eventually, we'd like to take this on the road and show you some of the best places in Florida to enjoy a few drinks, explore some off-the-beaten-track sites and generally introduce you to why we love calling Florida our home.
