Get to Know Us
Brian and I moved to Florida about 8 years ago after dreaming about living someplace warm our whole lives. In 2020, after a few months of living in this new world pandemic, we and a few other friends decided to start a monthly rum club we named The Stone Monkey Rum Society.

Every month we get together to enjoy some excellent foods and drink various rums from around the world. Out of this adventure, was born our next, The Florida Rum Explorer.

Brian had the idea that he could use the knowledge he had about Rums and pass that on to the world. And ta-da - A brand new YouTube channel was born.

I've worked in Marketing my whole career, so I couldn't let it stop there. Thus this new website.
​
There is so much more to come. We hope to take this show on the road, so to speak, and incorporate exploring Florida while we enjoy drinking rum and sharing a little sunshine with all of you, our loyal subscribers!
